Art in Olympia’s Storefronts Call for Art: FEAST - Let’s Dine Together

Olympia Artspace Alliance is seeking proposals from artists and artist teams to develop site-responsive, temporary two- and three-dimensional art installations inspired by the theme “FEAST – Let’s Dine Together.” Installations will be displayed in the windows of the Goldberg Building, located at the corner of Capitol Way and 4th Avenue in downtown Olympia, from early August through early November.

Installation Information

The theme “FEAST – Let’s Dine Together” explores the cultural, emotional, and social rituals surrounding food, gathering, and shared tables. Living in the Pacific Northwest, we are nourished by the region’s bounty — from the sea to local farms and orchards. Dining together may evoke images of picnics, after-party messes, cherished traditions, shared laughter around the table, the act of foraging, or even the ways local wildlife gather to dine. This is a feast for the eyes, and the interpretation is yours to imagine.

  • Call for Art: May 25 – June 22

  • Jury Selection: Late June

  • Installation Period: August 1 – August 8

  • Deinstallation: October 30 – November 2
