Seeking Proposals for Artwork Installations, “Things I’ve Discovered…”
Olympia Artspace Alliance (OAA) is seeking artwork proposals for its Art in Olympia’s Storefronts Installation program in downtown Olympia. The artwork will be installed in vacant storefront windows in downtown Olympia, April—July 2023.
The theme of this installation is Things I’ve Discovered.
“Winter—Under the Salish Sea” Exhibition, Nov./Dec. 2022
Olympia Artspace Alliance invites the community to the latest Art in Olympia Storefronts project, created by students from Fine Arts Club at South Sound Dance, Hansen Elementary School, Olympia Waldorf School and Madison Elementary in the windows of The Goldberg Building. Art will be installed November 28-29, and remain in place through February 2023.

The Windows to our Future exhibit aligns with our mission by gaining opinions and ideas to improve our artist outreach in the Olympia community as well as fulfilling our mission to pay artists for their work, provide exhibit space, and activate vacant spaces through art.

Olympia Artspace Alliance is pleased to announce a new exhibition, “Walk this Way” – artworks by local artists that was installed on March 15 and will be available for viewing through June 30, 2022, in the windows of the Goldberg Building at the corner of Capitol Way at Fourth Avenue in downtown Olympia.

Seeking Proposals for Artwork Installations
Olympia Artspace Alliance is seeking proposals from artists and artist teams to develop site-responsive, temporary, 2-dimensional and/or 3-dimensional art installations related to the theme “Walk this Way.” The artwork will be installed in vacant storefront windows in downtown Olympia, March 7-June 30, 2022.

Survey Says…
In October and November we conducted an on-line survey to gather information directly from artists and performers in Olympia to help inform our work in 2020. We will be using the information we received to guide our efforts to preserve, develop and advocate for affordable live, work and exhibition space for artists in Olympia.
